What is measured
Event type, page identity, clicked public destination, event time and an optional referring domain are recorded. Page and graph statistics are aggregated for the connected Mycelium and Observatory programme.
What is not collected
The public measurement layer rejects email, names, raw IP addresses, precise location, browser fingerprints, free text, search queries, genetic data, medical data and Veil answer text.
Veil participation
When a visitor chooses to solve a Veil gate, the answer is verified transiently on the server against a protected digest. The raw answer is never stored. An anonymous journey value is used only to enforce gate order and rate limits.
Retention and access
Raw operational events are retained for up to 30 days. Aggregated counts are retained for portfolio monitoring. The future Observatory is access-controlled; no public endpoint exposes private graph or analytics records.
